When you start with consistently friendly service, have fresh and tasty food & coffee, put some fun local art on the walls and then add a record store on the side...you are gonna get an excellent place to stop and get your morning coffee, socialize and have a snack!
Great atmosphere!!!!! You can get a delicious coffee while you shop for vinyl, look at cool artwork and listen to great music....all while supporting local business.

Great little spot on the Northwest side. Drink selection and food offered very good. Love the quirkiness.
Love this place. The staff is always welcoming and informative. The food is fantastic and fresh. The coffee is delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is vintage and retro and it's always fun to check out what they have in their record collection. Always a great place to go.

A great little coffee shop with the best darn Cuban sandwich I've ever had in Chicago. A splendid selection of pastries and specialty coffees as well as some interesting iced concoctions. The staff is always incredible friendly, and the owners are neighborhood locals who are just lovely people. Bring the whole family as they're kid friendly too!
Shout out to Ryan for always helping make my Perk visits more enjoyable. I like going here with my sisters when they visit me (I live a couple blocks away), and I often mention the Perkolator to friends, too. It's great to have places like the Perkolator in the neighborhood since we don't have the surplus of food/coffee options like in Andersonville, for example. But at Perk, you'll find good food, coffee, and ambiance, and it's easily accessible on W. Irving Park Rd.
