We've become rather disappointed with Perkins in Mason City as My adult son has reported numerous times that the men's restroom is very filthy each time, he stated the kitchens in restaurants would be filthy too as that goes hand in hand. The sweet potato fries were different in taste texture and cooking each time,,,,disappointing .. the once very good macaroni and cheese they started to use those flat boxes of Kraft Dinners which are awful at least that is what it appeared to look like...tasted most awful....don't like that... read more
This Perkins seems kind of old but the atmosphere is good and the service is good. The management seemed engaged with their employees and were very respectful. The menu features a large selection of great omelets, sandwiches, and dinner items and you have to get a piece of pie when you visit a Perkins, they are great! I was here a little after dinner rush and the food seemed a little substandard compared to other Perkins, but what restuarant chain doesn't have a difference in quality compared to other locations?
