Terrible experience with Dr. Daniel J. Thomas, DDS in St. Joseph, MO. I was a returning patient who drove over an hour for a scheduled appointment, only to be denied even an examination because I previously declined his recommendation for full-mouth extractions. This appears to violate Missouri Dental Board Rule 20 CSR 2110-2.200, which prohibits “unwarranted refusal to treat” and “patient abandonment without reasonable cause or adequate notice.” It also violates the ADA Code of Ethics, including Section 1: Patient Autonomy ... read more
