Luckily my wife has cousins in Abilene, Texas, so we go visit occasionally. We do not miss eating at the Perini Ranch if we are within 100 miles. Once, we stayed overnight in one of the two cabins - delightful! There were whitetail deer and Rio Grande Turkeys running around everywhere. At the very least, buy the cookbook. I use it all the time. Often I will give relatives and clients the tenderloin that is prepared at the ranch for Christmas. What thanks we get.
We always have a great time at Perini's. The food is always very good, and so is the staff. Great atmosphere always.
