I chose the Friday night fish fry with all the veggies (squash, black eyed peas, green beans, roasted corn on the cob). I was pretty disappointed in that all of the veggies were barely lukewarm and the fish was not the best. I guess when you go to a steakhouse you should stick to the steaks. Not the best service but they were busy. It will be a long while before I go back because the price is too high to drive out there for cold food.

A group of eight drove to Buffalo Gap from Fredericksburg, Tx with no disappointments. A genuine Old Texas Steakhouse it is in deed. We started with a rack of ribs to get our taste buds headed in the right direction, deliciously season w/course cracked pepper. The salads were a meal in themselves. Our party each chose a variety of the steaks available and all were overwhelming pleased as to the flavor and all were cooked exactly as ordered. I'd limit my steak intake elsewhere and make the 325 mile round trip monthly.
Awesome steak! The service was top notch. Hubby does not like the hard rolls, but that is personal preference. We will definitely be back, we live in Oklahoma and made the drive after reading on here about the place, it was well worth the drive
