When you pull across that cattle Guard onto a gravel ranch road you know you’re not coming to an ordinary steak house. No, this place is comfortable, it’s got character and its about as Texas as it gets. No bells and whistles, just friendly service, great red meat cooked just right over a mesquite wood fire and a wonderful flavor. We celebrated our 12th anniversary there, the first yr we have celebrated, Braden was an excellent server... Extremly happy with our service and the food on our rarely celebrated special day...
This is a casual steakhouse with outstanding food and drink. Tonight was my first visit...400 miles from Houston. Big City G&T, ranch salad with creamy smooth buttermilk ranch dressing. Special side was their new twice-baked potatoes with bacon and chives, very yummy. The main event was a beautiful 16oz rib eye...cooked perfectly with mouth watering flavor. This is an outstanding restaurant in West Texas.
