Performance Therapeutics began serving the Rio Grande Valley’s physical therapy needs in 2003, when we opened our first clinic in Edinburg, Texas. Omar Palomin, a physical therapist, opened the clinic with just himself and a receptionist. Upon recognizing the need for outpatient adult orthopedic physical therapy in the Upper Valley, he expanded his practice to accommodate the many patients who traveled long distances to receive treatment. My father in law was recently turned away because he couldn’t breathe under his mask while on an exercise machine and was told “you can come back when you’re ready to put on a mask” They knew he has Lou Gehrig’s disease and refused to accommodate for a patient’s needs. If they treat a patient with private insurance suffering from a complete systemic neurological disorder like this I wonder what they to do others. Definitely do not recommend.
