These guys should be stopped by the department of consumer affairs. They sold me an expensive pool heating solar system (about 10k) to "save money on gas and be greener". What a joke. What the idiots failed to mention is that by placing the panels on the roof the the roof would be completely ruined. In addition because of the distance from the pool and the height gain of the panels on the roof...the pool equipment was overpressured causing the pool filter to literally blow apart about 5 years after it was installed ($500). If you value your money, do not consider doing business with Performance Solar. I inherited a solar pool system when I bought my house; I actually hired Performance Solar to re-install the panels after a roofing job. Fast forward 5 years; one of my panels was leaking from damage received in a hail storm. I called Performance Solar to have someone come take a look.
