I had a great experience working with Chris and his service manager (I wish I could remember her name, apologies!). I expressed interest for a car on a Friday evening and Chris was immediately in touch. I was able to stop by that Saturday morning for a test drive. He was upfront with the pricing and didn't try to add any additional fees. He printed out the CarFax report for me, explained the history of the vehicle, and knew *everything* about the car (features, reliability reports, etc.). I was working with Steve to look at a used vehicle at Performance Motor Cars. I am out of state and I wanted to check a few things before I decided to make the trip to see the car in person. Steve was extremely helpful and sent me multiple pictures upon request. I didn't end up making the purchase but Steve's communication and service was great.
We bought a Subaru Outback a year and a half ago from Performance Motor Cars. We found out there was a hole in the exhaust and that the bottom was full of rust, which costed us a lot to get repaired. It was obvious that the sound it made when we bought it that there was something wrong. We asked about it at the time, and he (Chris) said it was normal - which was a lie.
