good food, creepy waiter I came to Perbacco on a date and was really enjoying to food. Every dish that was tried was pulled together nicely and presented well. Our waiter was very attentive. Good wine list. The only problem: I was looking for the bathroom (downstairs and around the corner) but had no idea where it was. I asked one of the servers that was walking by. Excellet Italian eats in SF Financial District Perbacco delivers upscale Italian beautifully. Our waiter was from a young guy from Venice who was incredibly friendly and attentive, understood the menu and wine list very well and recommended great pairings with our dishes. Braised lamb shank was fabulous. My wife had the ricotta gnocchi which was good but not a standout. Beet salad was fresh and good - like it is at most great SF restaurants. Definitely a good date spot despite it's financial district location.
