I went into Pequod's excited and open minded. I'd heard so much about the place on various food channels and could not believe that I never checked it out. Liked the atmosphere although the speakers upstairs were shot and the volume is loud enough to notice. Our waitress had to apologize for the delay with our appetizer- took 30 minutes to get the combo platter out. The mozz sticks, poppers, zucchini and mushrooms were good though. I come from LA and must hit the Quods soon as I land. Pre-hotel; bags and all. #1 in my book.
This was my first meal in the city, and I'm super happy I did! I had the deep dish cheese personal pizza and a side salad! My salad was delivered almost as soon as I ordered it, as well as my Coke! Pizza took about 20-25, which was just fine! If I would change anything would be how cramped it was where I was seated, and my chair wasn't very comfortable! Other wise it was great! I believe my waitress' name was Tessa. And she was great 🏻
Love, Love, Love!!!! Service = awesome! Food = awesome! Our favorite pizza ever!!
