Horrible service when we were there a couple weeks ago. We decided to take my parents somewhere they hadn't been since they were in town. They never want to go back. When we got there, it wasn't busy and we were the only people in this one area. Two tables filled up after us and they both got there food before us. It took awhile for someone to take our orders. We used to consider Peppers "our neighborhood pub," a cozy place to pop in after work or after a Sunday afternoon motorcycle ride. The food was consistently lousy but the taps and mugs were always cold. The staff was friendly and let us watch the Bears and the Blackhawks. I don't know what happened to Peppers. It's not good anymore. Fortunately we found out that Woody's has Angry Orchard on tap and a patio you can smoke on, so that's our new hang out. Sorry, Peppers. We really miss you.
Food is awesome -- smoking Philly is not to be passed up on. Great staff and service.
Definitely to expensive on the drinks. Especially there tap beers. Never was a huge fan of the place anyways. Ive heard a few storys about staff there. Plus now hearing the story about the gal who paid her tab and they say she didnt and the manager was going to keep her purse until tab was paid? Real smart Manager. No wonder staff loads the floor with grease in the kitchen and quits and walks out. Wont be back!
Went there once and it was great! Went today and not soo much. Waited a very long time for food and when it came it wasn't good. Half under cooked and half over cooked. It was clear our order was forgotten and then thrown together. Good cesar though.

We were never told the grill was not working when seated us,also burned 2 batches of popcorn and the waitress was not very good either, not a good way to handle the situation. Definitely not coming back!
