Welcome to Pepperhead! Pepperhead opened in the fall of 2009, owned and managed by Tess Monta¿o and her father, Pete. Our restaurant features Northern New Mexico-style Mexican food and other Southwestern dishes. Local produce and meats are featured on the menu whenever possible, and we aim to be as environmentally friendly as possible, carrying only draft beers and fountain drinks to eliminate bottle waste. We love to bring the whole family for dinner at Pepperhead! Amazing staff and the meals are fresh and simple. We especially love that the Southwest Farm Fresh Cooperative brings local produce to Pepperhead and other local restaurants. Also, try the veggie option in almost anything and you won't be disappointed!

Can't believe all of the good reviews. Must have been an off day, but that was the worst meal I've ever had! The taco and burrito that my husband ordered had nothing but tasteless beef in them. I've never seen a taco with just meat, period, in it. The rice and beans weren't even any good. The rice tasted like reconstituded ( Uncle Ben's) with some canned stewed tomato juice to make it look like spanish rice. My huevos ranchos were also tasteless, just beef, eggs, and red sauce.
