We got a flat tire in Alys Beach. On Easter this was the only Pep Boys 40 miles away that had our tire. The tow truck took over 3 hours to get to us and we were racing against the clock to get here before they closed at 4 pm. Cody and his team waited for us as we arrived at 3:57 and changed the tire. We now have a 5 hour drive back to Ocala but are forever grateful that’s they helped us
I can’t say enough good things about Pep Boys in Niceville. We had a flat with an 11 hour trip ahead of us and they got us in and out quick! They were so helpful and explained everything that they needed to do! Definitely recommend!
I've had several BAD experiences with Pep Boys in the past and do not recommend their service to anyone. One their prices are way to high, second wanted to charge a family member $1100 for a battery and alternater? What a RipOff!! Then we're told no leave property, no repairs allowed!! Bad Move pep girls you lost my business and all of my family friends!!
28 July 2020....Took my sons 2013 Ford Mustang in to Pep Boys in Niceville due to periods where the car would be running fine then it would just die. After a few minutes it would start up and run fine. Been happening for about a week now. Expecting a fuel problem with either needing a new fuel filter, bad gas or maybe having to replace the fuel pump. I bought 2 tires from Walmart.com and brought them to pep boys to have them mounted and balanced. We just jacked the car up at home and took the two wheels we wanted replaced up there. A few hrs later we get a call saying one of the tire pressure sensors and valve stem is busted. We were replacing the tires because the tire had gotten a knot/bubble in the tread. Only place we take our cars. We are on a first name basis now. 😊 Polite, personable, dependable and honest. A little slow at times but that’s worth it because they’re the best in town.
Called today and was told they had the tires I needed. All that was needed was to mount them on rims. Drove down to the store and was told they have to order them and they would be in the next day! Why in the hell would tell someone something and lie to them? I don’t get it.... you piss a customer off more when you do that! Needless to say I took my business elsewhere, won’t be back because if you can lie about that you can lie about anything
I was refused prepaid installation of tires ordered through Amazon. Claimed the ordered tires load rating not good enough. Turns out the ordered tires are higher rates then the OEM tires.
