Do not take your car to this shop - I am having problems with them and they don’t back their work nor do they half themselves accountable for their work. I have been on the phone all day trying g to speak to corporate and they don’t allow you to get through to them . I call what I thought was a corporate number and at the end of the work day I get a call from the manager at this location. Never shop at Pepboys. On 9/23/2016 I bought a new set of Futura tires 245-75-R16. On 10/23/18 approximately 20K miles . We got a screw in the tire I went to the local pepboys about 45 miles from the original location I had moved. They said they had no record of me ever buying tires at pepboys, and wanted $20.00 to fix it. Since they said I have never bought tires at pepboys I decided to go to a more reputable tire store. My mom have 80 years and still driving her 2003 Toyota Matrix. When she have issues with her vehicle she goes to the Pep Boys on Hillsborough avenue where Peter have been taking good care of her car and my mom mechanical spending. For over 8 year Peter and her staff have been changing oil, tire, breaks and today a starter, never a complaint or misunderstanding in charge for a fee or auto part. I trust Pet Boys with the repair of my mom car and I know they enjoy kindly taking excellent care of my mom.
I gat a starter 4 weeks ago for $500. And it went out again which makes me think I got a rebuilt starter in the first place for $500.
Do not go to Pep Boys I had the worst experience. I bought two new tires and the same day the driver tire blew out over the Skyway Bridge. When I called to try to get help they wanted to charge me to tow my car to repair something that should not even be broken. The very next day when I had to get another tire from them that same tire went out horrible experience do not go to them
