Went , and was told BY THE MANAGER himself that it was the starter, I said no it sounds like it's just the pulley and the belt. He brings out a metal tube sticks it to the starter, and tells me no its the starter. So I take it to a neighbor I tell him I think it's the pulley, yep sure enough it was the pulley. Saved 300.00 by NOT listening to THE MANAGER. THE one on America's and Socorro road by Sonic. Don't to there. They'll take your money.
Warning!!! So this doesn’t happen to you. I made an appointment at 8 for an oil change. When I get there they tell me that there’s 3 walk-ins and 2 more people with the same appointment time. The problem is that there’s only one mechanic at that time. The other two come in later. They took care of the walk-ins first and then the appointments. That makes no sense at all. Why make an appointment? I asked if the guys making the appointments know that there’s only one mechanic that early. Manager says no!!! I just couldn’t belie... read more
Brake master told me I had to replace a emergency brake cable wanting to charge me a expensive fee for the repair. Took my truck to Pep boy's on 200 S. Americas ave. they did a free inspection and found out they didn' t put the original Cable in right all it just need was to install cable the right way and adjust to manufacturer's specifications. Service technician so well knowledgeable.
