Close the store so a decent tire/service vendor could open...The 3 times I have stopped there its ALWAYS the same ... you walk up to service...and the guy says be with you in a minute...after 5 minutes you are told you can't be helped today..AT LEAST there would be no more time wasted...As the customer walks up just say I'm sorry we cant do anything today would be better...AVOID this crappy place
I hardly ever complain about bad service but I will never recommend this place for car service. I waited 15 minutes to be able to talk to someone about what I needed and then Michael who serviced me seemed to have an attitude. I came in with an appointment for a car inspection and Michael said, “Well what’s wrong with it?” The point of a scheduled inspection is to see what’s wrong with the vehicle. I decided to buy tires from pep boys that were on sale. I had purchased road hazard because why not. Well I had a problem with tire and now a week and a half later I’m still waiting on one tire to arrive. I guess when you buy a product from here once they get your money they don’t give a shit about you anymore. The answer I got from the service manager was to call pep boys office if I didn’t like it.. I will ever spend another penny in this store..
Horrible! Car wouldn’t start so walked into pep boys since it was close. They got the car towed in, and changed the starter. Said it would cost me 500, I had $100 which they took and gave me a pep boys card and indebted me $400 on it. Then the car still wouldn’t start, they looked again and said it was the timing chain and my car would never start again. The car never started back up, and they won’t refund me and expect me to pay $400 for a part I can’t even have and they supposedly can’t use anymore because it’s now “used”.... read more
Finally in Louisville (1.5 hour drive for me) to get a $250 battery replaced under warranty, waited on hold for 30 minutes to be told that the shop could not test my battery because they needed to close an hour and a half from now and couldn't replace it unless they tested it. Worst car parts/repair shop customer service in my 20 year mechanic career. Piss off Pep Boys. You will get $0 more from me.
Horrible customer service. This place needs to be closed down before a car is not properly repaired and someone gets injured or worse from their inability to fix a vehicle. Was told today, "If a mechanic can't find a job, they go to Pep Boys".
Had an 8 o'clock appt. Didn't leave until almost 11 a.m. so although it took way too long for a basic oil change the customer service was good.
They suck!!! Why take appointments if your not going to go by them.
