It is a wonder anyone visits this store. I attempted to have my rotors turned ( a normal service on any brake job) when I didn't want to spend $30 extra for their rotor they had a host of excuses why they could turn my rotors. The most amusing one was they didn't have the proper way to do so. I drive an F150 Ford truck. YOU Mean you cant turn a rotor when Ford has made almost a billion of these trucks over the last 30 years? Wow! perhaps you could come up with a better lie. Pep Boys scammers/rip off So i went there for two tires and alignment "will take an hour and a half"....suuuure it will, fine well go walk to target. Get back they didn't even start yet. Oh we was going to call we can't do you're alignment you need tie rods ball joints control arms etc. w.t.f!! So i declined that. Just put the tires on. I'm a lincoln tech graduate and a.s.e cert parts guy for napa so now im pissed, why? UnPeppy Pep Boys. I wish I had good things to say about Pep Boys in Santee, C., But that wouldn't be telling the truth. The only two people in the store actually working were the women cashiers. And both of them knew more than any of the "boys" working there. The "service manager" was a complete joke. I watched 5 cars drive off from the outside service lane because he didn't even acknowlege that they were waiting. Completely incompetent staff - No customer service I went to the Pep Boys located in Santee over the weekend to get an oil change. When I approached the counter there were employees sitting there looking at a coin collection in a magazine. Neither of them bothered to stop what they were doing to acknowledge my presence. Not only were they HORRIBLE.... They kept my car WAY longer then they said they needed it and they caused more issues with my car then what it went it with. I went in for typical routine work......they charged me up the rear for it THEN they call me to tell me other things are now not working but they ordered the parts and are working on fixing it..... Completely incompetent personnel! Not at all thrilled with the service I received today. After having my vehicle towed to their location, I attempted to register my vehicle for service to get it repaired. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to register me outside, I proceeded inside. Walked right up to an empty counter where a gentleman was standing told him why I was there and that I had called beforehand to let them know my vehicle was coming.
