Brought my van to be fixed. Was charged almost 900.00 to fix booster. My brakes are worse. Was told to bring it back!! Do your job right first time. Mechanic said he told manger it was the wrong booster. Manager says go ahead and put it on. It is under warranty. What a JOKE!!
Roanoke TX. location removed the tire sensors on my car and didn't put them back. Twice. I'll remove this rating when I get the sensors placed back on my car tires. All I did was get a tire change. Sending ratings to every location and site I can find. All I recall is that it was a smooth talking dike that changed the tires.
My alternator unexpectedly went out on the way to my son’s graduation and they were able to get me in immediately and start working on my car! The store manager Aaron was great, he very kindly offered to put the 4 dozen brownies I had just picked up from Mugs Bakery in their shop cooler so that they would not melt while my car was being repaired! They were quick to take care of us and very knowledgeable about all vehicles. They even called us when they found out how much it was going to cost before doing the work to get our approval! We’ll definitely go back when/if needed!
Made an appointment to have one of my tires changed. I decided to wait as I didn’t think it would take long since it was only one tire and I had made the appointment. Needless to say it took them 2 hours to change one tire. They didn’t even pull my car in until 40 minutes after my appointment. That is completely ridiculous and disrespectful to a customer. I liked that Pep Boys are cheaper with their tires, but I will be going elsewhere that respects my time.
They charged us a 1300 for a repair. The next day our transmission went out and it was all due to a bad part they put on! They continue to give my husband the run around and will NOT provide him with the district manager phone number. I will NEVER recommend these people and I highly recommend you take your car somewhere else to be repaired!
My vehicle was at this shop for almost two weeks and more was wrong with it when I picked it up than when I dropped it off. I've never received such poor customer service or destruction to my property from a service provider. My seats were covered in black grease stains and personal belongings were tossed all over my trunk. I don't feel safe driving my vehicle because Pep Boys didn't properly reassemble all the parts. I will never bring my vehicle here again.
