I am a repeat customer. Folks do a fine job at reasonable prices.
I hope the warranty on the parts sold at Pep Boys is better than the insurance when a Pep Boys vehicle is involved. Somebody, higher up than the store, doesn't know how to fill out forms correctly and turn in to BMV . Once an employee leaves they must not care if auto accidents are finalized or not. Business is only as good as their management, in my opinion - management is a big let down and not professional.
I went there with a flat n was told my tire was split n they couldn't fix it because law says tred was too low. Tried talking me into buying their tires. Made them put my spare on and went to Complete Auto &Tire (Browns) in Delphi. They said nothing was wrong with my tire. Aired it up n put it back on. Charged me nothin for Pep Boys bullcrap.
Charged twice for one set of tires. Told the bank had to deal with it. Wrong! 16 days and still no refund. Told it was taken care of over and over, lie after lie. They won't admit they made mistake. Corporate says,after numerous calls, it WAS there mistake and a certain employee was incompetent. Still waiting on refund! Time to call a lawyer!!! Spread the word!!!! BEWARE!!!
I made an appointment on line to get a battery installed. About 1/2 hour before my appointment I got a call saying they couldn't do it at my scheduled time because they are busy. I was told that they "should" be able to get to it today, but they were unwilling to give me a specific time. If I brought it in, the work would "probably" be done within 2 hours. That is a walk-in.
