As a member went for an unsecured loan, only way it would be approved is with house as collateral....that's a mortgage and not a loan. Had 3 cards eaten by ATM, which are labelled People's First Bank but apparently nothing to do with them. Finnaly got a response,the not my problem response ,can get you a new card in 10 days. Lost money on 4 suspicious transactions, was alerted by another company of the fraudulent activity, and immediately alerted People's First Bank call centre and Visa disputes. Peoples choice head office in Adelaide has to be one of the worst customer service team I have ever dealt with in my life. My partners card got blocked and he called them up on a Wednesday morning to find out what’s wrong and the back and forth bs to customer service to fraud back to customer service because each one of them said they couldn’t help. Long process to apply for car loan, with all relevant documents supplied. Long term customer with mortgage with PCCU. Refused any loan after 40 minute zoom meeting with new person I'd never met. No reason given. Their computer said no! Never defaulted on past mortgage or past car loan payments. Got cheaper rate in a few minutes at car dealership. Don't apply for car loan from these people even if you bank with them!
Been with People's Choice (and Savings and Loans) for 20 years, and the more they try to call themselves People's Choice or People First, the less they have become that. Their call centre has particularly gone downhill lately. Staff not listening and proceeding to go off on their own monologue, or just being obnoxious or lazy. Had enough of People's S. Started to transfer elsewhere.
