I received terrific service from Michael Hamilton at Columbia Private Trust today. Michael was very helpful and was able to provide me with guidance on how to best proceed with a serious issue I have been dealing with. The worst customer service I have ever we experienced. I have been with the previous companies and they were all excellent until Columbia took over. Their website is always having issues. Was told they don’t have a tech department or supervisors when they cannot figure the issues. They are pathetic!!!
Stay away. Fees on top of fees on top of fees.
The service level has really declined for me since they acquired Pacific Premier Trust. They missed a capital call from a private equity investment despite my having called several times to ensure it was facilitated. As well, I have an invesment that shut down a couple years ago and should be a zero, but they have made it impossible for me to mark it down and they have taken hundreds of dollars of fees as a result.
We talked with Pedro and he was amazing! We had 5 items we needed help with and he was patient and walked us through all of the steps. Can't recommend Pedro highly enough.
