Dr. Penner is great. His front office? Most inept, incompetent, and insulting as I've ever dealt with in a health-care setting. Nine days after my appt., my script has not been filled at CVS. They inexplicably (purportedly) mailed it when I specifically asked the front desk to send it to CVS. And it's never arrived. Three phone calls later and a demand for someone in charge, I got the office "manager", Emily, who blamed me (!!!) for not listening to my voicemail last week. Have been seen multiple times. Loss of voice for 2-5 months at a time every year from January to roughly May. Was told in 2022 "my advice to you is to not get sick" and more recently in 2025 I was asked "what do you want out of this?" When I had no voice for about 5 months. Reluctant to perform a scope down to the back of the throat, but eventually "oh I found one!" Recommended speech therapy. Don't waste your time or money!
If I could give zero stars I would. My mom has been suffering with severe nausea, vertigo, and headaches. Completely debilitating for her. She was scheduled four times in a row, incorrectly, for the wrong MRI due to Dr. Penner. Despite the individual phone calls made to him to tell him it was the wrong MRI. Finally get the correct one after about five months of waiting and he didn’t schedule the necessary blood work before said MRI so it was once again cancelled. I am BAFFLED.
