Waited for a urology appointment for two months and disappointed in my visit is an understatement. I was completely disregarded when I stated my symptoms and because the urine test came back negative (like it has been for months, after two ER visits and multiple PCP visits), the doctor essentially thinks nothing is wrong. No follow-up testing was ordered, even after the ER doctor said a cystoscopy was my best bet. I was told to take cranberry supplements and I have a phone follow-up in JANUARY now. They were very thorough and obviously had experience in the examination and biopsy of the spot on my arm. They followed up the biopsy with a personal phone call which I appreciated.
I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer a few weeks ago and needed a total hysterectomy. I’m a registered nurse, so I’m very aware of care concerns. Worse yet, I historically get incredibly sick to my stomach and vomit after surgery. EVERY time!
