I had multiples that were cared for in this Nicu. One died unexpectedly which I know was a hospital error especially because they never gave me a reason why my baby died. During the time of his passing, one doctor asked if I wanted to keep trying to save my child’s life or if I wanted to let my baby go. I said to keep trying of course! Since my daughter Kehlani was transferred to Hershey Children’s Hospital, one of my biggest frustrations has been the lack of consistent communication. I completely understand that NICU nurses are extremely busy and have multiple babies to care for, and I would never expect my daughter to be on the AngelEye camera all day. PLEASE READ!!! My son had a major brain surgery and all they want to give him is tylenol for his pain. Not only did they perform a vp shunt surgery and not give him proper pain management. They even moved him out of the icu before he even hit his 24 hour mark. Right after his surgery they allowed him to scream and holler his head off the entire night.
