Sitting in waiting room for 7 hours now. A mother just left because she told everyone the doctors and nurses are fighting in the ER I’m fed up
Check your billing statements!!! New moms be alert! While many of the doctors are wonderful, the institution of penn state hershey likes to do add on charges. Look out for the maternal depression screen included at well child visits.... its likely not covered by your insurance and you can bet that the billing department will be asking for the $22 they charge for you to fill out a 10 question form. And they won't inform you that this may not be included with your co-pay. Its underhanded at best. We tried to address this with ... read more
The emergency room staff is neglectful, rude, not very attentive, will leave a person lying in the bed in pain without giving medication, not allow a person to drink anything “just in case” they need surgery, will only check on a patient once every 2 hours, extend a 4 hour stay to 8 hours, won’t give test results or updates to the patient, etc. Absolutely unacceptable! If people wanted that kind of treatment, they’d go to a Pinnacle Health hospital!!! All of what I just mentioned, happened to my significant other just this m... read more
