I'm just very disappointed. It's interesting that the false narrative supporting what created the divide in the first place is supported and the narrative that can actually bridge the divide is muted.

I am very disappointed in the PSAA decision to not release the video of Penn State alum Franco Harris receiving his Lions Paw award. That sir is a divisive action and because of it, I will encourage every future Penn State graduate to NOT join the alumni association as the alumni association doesn't represent the alumni, but rather the interests of a cabal on the Board of Trustees and Old Main.

Worthless bunch of sycophants who are only concerned about maintaining their privileges. Alumni are keeping their donations in their own pockets.

Un-representative. Non-transparent. Sycophantic and shameful. This org pretends to be about the alums of PSU. It is only about coining money. We need an AA about the alums That means INDEPENDENT of the BOT. Please get out.

It's hard to imagine that I used to be so proud of being a part of the "largest dues paying alumni association" in the country. I actually let myself be hopeful that a new director might bring about change. Instead we have yet another BoT puppet. The PSAA: Where censorship reigns supreme.

Sadly the PSAA does not represent the views of most alumni as proven by a survey the PSAA sponsored. The vast majority don't trust the BOT, and the PSAA is catering to its self serving interest.

Sadly the PSAA does not represent the views of most alumni. This should not be too surprising given that the PSAA is actually part of the university -- check out Penn State's organization chart.

Penn State University has been taken hostage by unelected, unscrupulous cowards who care only about their own ego and bank account. The Penn State I loved is a distant memory. Unfortunately the "alumni" association is just an extension of the corrupt board of trustees. I pray they are exposed at some point. The only hope for the future of Penn State is MAJOR board reform. And another thing, can we stop honoring Joel Myers, Jesse Arnelle, Cynthia Baldwin and anyone else that was part of the travesty of decision making in Nove... read more

Sad to say, as a life member I am hugely disappointed in the stance the PSAA has taken these past few years. I thought they were representative of the Alumni, but they seem to be just another puppet for the OG BoT. From throwing out Robert's Rules of Order, to rigging the alumni council nominating process, nothing good can come unless they truly rehabilitate and take a stand for the alumni.
