There is simply no greater alumni organization in the country.
Unfortunately the PSAA pretends it represents the alumni. However, it is owned and operated by the University and has consistently taken the side of the Board of Trustees (BOT) and university president. As such, it has supported the continuing lack of transparency by the University with respect to Sandusky scandal issues. It has taken direct steps to prevent the alumni who question the BOT from running for PSAA council. The newly hired Director was not forthcoming when he interviewed with Oregon for same job he holds now at PSU. Oregon found out after they hired him that he was fired at his previous University.
