Got my ear checked out here for some potential hearing issues. After briefly looking at my ear for 2 minutes, Dr. Sterling said "We can do this small procedure takes a minute to look in your nose, can do it now or next week at the hearing test, it isn't a big deal just rules out a potential cause of your symptoms" Completely making it seem like this wasn't a big thing. This is the first time I’ve ever reviewed a physician, and I believe the first time I’ve ever given a negative review. I was seen by Dr. Sterling last year, and was shocked at his unprofessionalism. He thought I was a different patient when he first walked in, and was incredulous that I wasn’t the person who’s chart he had in-hand…as if it were more plausible I’d be misinformed regarding my own identity, than he could possibly have the wrong chart for his patient. Dr Sterling was the best doctor I’ve ever been seen/treated/operated on by. He is passionate, passes on ethical advisement to patients (no pressure-gives all pros and cons) and does amazing work. Septoplasty - sinuses - turbinates - other stuff … I had a long surgery but miraculously was working the next day and breathe better than I ever have.
