DO NOT allow any family member to go here. My daughter was admitted and in one week she only saw a psych doctor ONCE for five to ten minutes. She told him she was restless (because she is so bored) and he gave her a blood pressure med. They do not care about the patients. We are trying to have her transferred to The Meadows in State College, but they don't want to lose the money grab, so they are refusing to cooperate.
Called twice, 1st time was 15 min on hold, 2nd time was 17 min on hold!?!?!
This place is useless. Nobody bothers to call you back. When you need help. I wouldn't recommend this place to my loved ones.
I never had problems with behavioral health and they are very professional and they are very kind to me. No problems. They do work with me. I did read the comments and ratings and I never seen that with them. Maybe it was different and they just thought it but I never had any bad experience with them. My son and I are patients there and been going there for about 1 years now.
Nurse was very ignorant while I was trying to get my sons med refill taken care of. Hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Penn highlands is a joke anymore
