Have always had a great experience buying dry goods from these guys, but the starter tomatoes and peppers I got this year are stellar. Very healthy plants and with their guidance I had minimal transplant shock and they're now so big they're breaking my tomato cages with all of the fruit. Next year I'll triple the size of my garden and I'll be getting all of my starters from Peninsula.
Mike is a super nice guy. He showed me how to grow lettuce under a small inexpensive fluorescent lamp. No moving parts and almost impossible for me to screw up. You just can't get service like that online and it's nice having an actual person who will help and give advice. I made a nice Puerto Rican meal for my girlfriend and was able to make her a fresh salad with lettuce I grew in the middle of winter. Gardening like this is rewarding and relaxing. Mike is an excellent help and very knowledgeable on every product he sells, as well as some he doesn't. No matter how many customers are in the store, they will make and take the time to help you. No matter how indecisive you may be on the products. I walked out with a clear understanding of all the products I purchased. My garden thanks Peninsula Hydroponics.

Great place, just what we needed in Hampton.. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, I've already bought some lights for my aquaponics and they're working out great! I would encourage everyone to buy their proven and trusted products as opposed to buying the cheapest stuff online.
