Absolutely disgraceful in Emergency. Son waiting 6 plus hours thus far, with a head injury. Came from the Urgent Care Clinic who forwarded him to the ED as his wound was too deep & in a position too close to his eye for them to want to suture. Nurse in ED somehow thinks it doesn't need suturing at all. Former Nurse here - the wide gash absolutely does need suturing - also the opinion of the Nurses at the Urgent Care Clinic. Went to emergency in January. I had problems with mobility, use of hand and weekness in the back. I had an exray of lower spine, and sent home. I went to a random GP. as my regular one had been of no help. A scan of the upper spine showed a giant tumor.covering the cervical spine I was days away from total paralysis and death. The people were lovely. I have no issue with ,the kindness and care, but that's not much help if the system of basic investigation is lacking.
