Thanks labour what a disgrace. So many people in ed waiting for help yet I keep seeing the disgusting lying women in the labour government carry on about how they have made our health system so amazing and that the peninsula hospital is state of the art with less wait times. Haha really anywhere 5 to 10 hours is not something to be proud of. Not faulting any staff here. More reason to vote ON in next election.
The rudest nurse, intake process extreamly selective. Put in fast track, "dont go to it it is a longer wait and they really dont care" you will in there and they will bring more in and see them first. My partner Factor 5 with blood clot ignored and a perferated eardrum he could not hear out of. No service provided other a wait 6.5hrs aprox. We left and i gave him my blood thiners cause the hospital did not give a shit. Pro tip: dont go to the emergency room IN AN EMERGENCY. They wont take you serious then make you wait seven hours while your symptoms worsen then after doing a whole lot of nothing they tell you you are fine and to get out and if it hurts go to your doctor (the person who gave you the note to go here immediately) thanks frankston for your never ending hellscape of a town which should've been bulldozed many years ago! :]
My dad has been in and out of hospital for the last few months, from the emergency department right through to outpatients everyone has been amazing. The staff and volunteers have all provided exceptional care to my dad and to us while visiting. All the different areas of the hospital are aware of all my dads appointments and are so well organised, they have been on top of all aspects. Can not thank all the staff enough, they work so hard and the care they provide is very much appreciated.
Nurse practitioner Brydee, went above and beyond today when i was with my son Tyler in the emergency department. Even in this difficult time, your continued commitment to patient centred care was a source of strength to not only to my son but to us as parents! Thank you for your fantastic care and work in avoiding surgery for my son! Keep up the great work your kindness and empathy have left an ever lasting impression.
