If I could give 5000 negative stars I would do so. "Customer service" gave endless excuses when the final bill came and I was not on the budget plan, and I had a whopper final bill that wiped out food and prescription money. Repeated excuses and no real looking into this. A monopoly company that ignores the customers and is only in it to gouge. sucked up money for food and aprescription
Absolutely awful customer service! Their self service robot is worthless and they put you on hold even when there's zero wait time. Just calling to resolve a simple issue turned into a grinding absurdity and my issue is still not resolved. Had one rep claim he,"couldn't hear me" even though my phone wasn't muted. I don't know who's in charge over there, but your service is a gd joke.
Every other month I enroll and auto pay and it still doesnt pull and they say I am late and charge a late fee and one time service fee to pull money from my bank account yet I have email proof from their automated system showing I enrolled and even when I go online to "fix" it; it shows I am already enrolled...
On Dec 20, 2024, Penelec customer service issued dispatch, in Erie, PA, to provide emergent based service to my residence. Four minutes after I was told that, a girl called from Erie dispatch and wanted to know what smellI reported in my home after Penelec restarted service after an outgage. She immediately gave the phone to a man, a rude and incompetent man who REFUSED to dispatch emergent services and said "call an electeician" and hung up.
