(Edited) Biggest cons at pencil factory -security; when I moved in June 2024, a security guard would walk the complex halls and “patrol the grounds” by move out July 2025 there is no security guard . Parking gate has been stuck open for weeks. Disregard for tenant safety; certificates for elevators are often months expired before addressed. I am posting anonymously since I do not trust the management team to not retaliate. Valet service for garbage pick up is inconsistent. We tried to cancel the service but were told we had to get it. Often on Mondays, residents awake to find a dumpster overflowing with garbage and the smell that accompanies that sight. Guest parking is a nightmare but I finally told my buddies just to park in the circle for free since management seems to have no problem with people parking there. Living here has been a good experience overall. The management team is professional, friendly, and always willing to help. I love the amenities especially the gym and resort pool. And the location is super convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. My apartment is spacious, quiet, and gets great natural light.
