I got in the same day and Dr Picht treated my girl so well. She’s very knowledgeable and it’s clear she has a big heart for animals. The nurses and/or techs were awesome as well and super prompt. The entire experience here, having my dog’s skin issue treated, was flawless. Also, Pricing is very reasonable especially for San Diego. Will be back in the future for both of my dogs needs.
I am deeply saddened and disappointed by my experience at Rancho Peñasquitos Veterinary Clinic. When I first brought my kitten in for his initial vaccines, I mentioned that his belly seemed unusually large for his size. I was told that his spine was visible, that he was simply too skinny, and that I should feed him more. At our second visit for his follow-up vaccines, a different veterinarian examined him and expressed concern that he might have FIP and stated vaccines could not be administered. The vets and techs here are the absolute best. We recently had to make the tough decision to put our 16 year old lab down. Everyone here acted with the upmost compassion throughout the process. Our community is fortunate to have this clinic here 🩵
Love Dr. Ray! He makes my very nervous kitties feel safe. He doesn’t overcharge or recommend expensive, unnecessary treatments. He takes all the time he needs to clearly explain a pet’s options and treatment plan.
Amazing team! We moved to PQ two years ago and just so glad a friend recommended this place! We were assigned to Dr Picht who went above and beyond when our elderly cat went on the decline and was ultimately put down. But all of the staff members are so friendly, patient, and supportive: very professional with every interaction! They all genuinely seem to enjoy working there! Another small thing but one I liked: they have separate entrances for dogs and cats.
