Do not recommend unless you want a clinic to aggressively sell you a $6,000 injection procedure that is not covered my insurance. After recently relocating to LA, I called PRM weeks ago and explained that I have a history of endo excision surgery and that I wanted to establish myself as a patient with their surgeon for endometrioma monitoring and a potential fertility preservation surgery in the future. Took three times coming before i finally had the treatment i needed. Was constantly being directed towards trying physical therapy first which did nothing. It was the injections I needed. And was charged for all three visits before even getting the injections.

Update: Unfortunately the 4th shot was not as successful as the first 3, which likely means it flared up some remaining endo. PRM now has an endo surgeon, Dr. Askari, at their LA office so I was referred to meet with him. I had a consult with him this week and wish I had found him sooner! He took the time to review my records, really listen, and tell me what he would do if he had a family member in my shoes. I am in week 3 of treatment for my Stage IV DIE with dense adhesions/scar tissue from 2 major laparoscopy surgeries (and 2 minor ones). While they say don’t expect results until week 6, I started noticing a difference week 1 and it keeps getting better. I am not super active, but have done Pilates off/on for 10+ years as a form of “therapy” for my Endo and I am able to engage/use muscles I didn’t know existed because my pelvic floor was one giant knot.
