My husband and I both love Dr. Pellegrino! We (sadly) had to move away from AZ for a few years; we are back now, and I am SO looking forward to making an appointment with him for another epidural to help relieve my back pain. He has done epidurals for me 3 times over the years, and each and every time he was thorough, kind, professional, patient, gentle and caring. Dr. Pellegrino is one of the most caring physicians I know. He listens well, asks good questions, and consults on a path forward. He understands your fears and concerns and is willing to discuss them at length. I have recommended him to friends and family, and all have been very appreciative.
I have gone to Dr. Pellegrino for many years and have referred a number of patients to him. Highly professional, cares about his patients. Talks you through every step of the procedure he is performing.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pellegrino, and his medical and front office staff. They are warm, engaging, friendly, and patient focused. He explained the results of my MRI, why he was recommending a certain kind of treatment, and used a model to explain exactly what he would do and how it might help. They explained how the insurance companies reviewed treatment results and how this affected any future appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Pellegrino to anyone suffering from pain
Dr Pellegrino throughly reviewed my X-rays and mri and prescribed a lower back steroid treatment which is improving my back pain. Step by step throughout the procedure he explained everything. I’m going to continue with him as he appears to know what’s best for my situation. Additionally, his staff is very helpful scheduling, answering questions, and processing insurance.
Dr. Pellegrino was by far the RUDEST doctor I have ever met. He was condescending, arrogant and made a flippant assessment. I would WARN everyone to NOT treat with him.

Daughter was referred to this doctor by her PCP for back pain after car accident.bWould not treat daughter for back pain from bulging disks in lower back unless she agreed to allow him to do full treatment for the condition. This doc is NOT as trained spine specialist. Should change name to Dr. Duck, because he's a Quack.
