Please read this. Do NOT purchase an entry door from Pella. We paid $11K for an entry door with two sidelights and there were manufacturing flaws in the door from day one (the top of the door has pits and dents, visible in picture) and on top of all of this, paint is coming off the door after only 7 months!!! What??? I do house renovations and this is a $300 door priced at $10K. Home Depot has better doors IN THE STORE. GOOD WITH THE PITCH, TERRIBLE AT THE FOLLOW THROUGH The sales rep, Chris, was very polite and made everything seem like this was going to go smooth........ The installer got to my home and asked for payment before competing the service. the complete payment was given prior to the installer's arrival, poor communication. when the installation of the window was completed, the adult in the home had to mention to him, where is the other. window jamb. This was not going to be mentioned to the adult. his resopnse was that he would inform the company, which he did not. when I reached out to the sales rep, who was not aware, he reached out to the company and they were not aware. Luke came by and showed us samples of pella windows. He was thorough and did a good job showing us the products. Although the price was way out of our budget definitely would recommend if you can afford it.
Windows seem good, but the exterior trim did not match the rest of my house exterior trim at all. I expected better matching abilities with the price that I paid for two windows.
