I needed a shock absorber for the trunk lid for my 1999 Carrera 4. Called and spoke with a very knowledgeable tech who got me squared away with the right part. I mentioned something about my oil change and he was very helpful in getting me the filters and the gaskets needed. The parts came quickly and I could put That down as a task done and the expense was quite a bit less expensive than the dealer. Buying the correct part for your car is just the first step - and Pelican support techs have that down pat. Installing the part on your car is step 2. That is where the support techs shine, too, along with the website. When it comes to installing parts, Pelican borrowed from FDR- "The only thing you have to fear is fear, itself." I'm glad I installed the part I bought myself. It's fun driving my Boxster, but it was almost more fun to fix it myself!!!
