Latinization of Asian Cuisine Peking has been my family's favorite Chinese restaurant in Athens for decades. The traditional Chinese architecture gives the place a great atmosphere. Although more Latinos than Chinese workers now work there, the atmosphere only suffers a little. Try the egg drop soup -- it can't be beat.
Peking Restaurant Located on the East Side across from Kroger. I came here for a late dinner. The service was fine, but I was not impressed by the food. I shared the sweet and sour chicken with a friend but it didn't seem fresh. On the up side, the portions were huge. My friend and I couldn't even finish an entree together. The atmosphere is nice, but the bathrooms are hidden in the back and they need to be redone. I hear they do a better lunch buffet.

good food fast service
Most flavorful, most variety I went to UGA and became a big fan of Peking. Even after moving off I would always stop by to eat whenever in town. Hands down some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Very large servings for the price, great flavor and not greasy. Now I'm in Idaho so it will be a while before I can get back. Two thumbs up.
Food is good but pricey This review is for their regular menu not their lunch buffet. I found their prices to be a little expensive if you were ordering more than one dish. They also only deliver to certain locations and will not deliver to campus housing. The quality of the food is good but I wish tasted a little bit more authentic. Overall, I consider this restaurant a choice of last resort.
Lots of Food for the price Peking Resteraunt on Atlanta Hwy is a great chinese restaurant. They have a wide variety on their lunch buffets, with the drink being included. Food is hot and fresh. Free delivery for orders over a certain amount (around $10). Lunch delivery specials are cheap and have lots of food.
