Was insured with Pekin for our company, we only had them for some months and when ask to cancel they gave us the run around and would not answer. When they charge our card again we call n call and an agent said he will cancel it. We texted the agent to make make sure our policy was cancel and he would not answer. ANOTHER month was charge on our card and we ask to talk to a superior person. This is my insurance Company. I really am pleased with their Service's. I Gave them 4 stars and that is great ,a boss once told me they didn't give a 10 on evaluations because there is always room for for improvement and the9 i got was something to be proud of.
My elderly parents had coverage with Pekin for years with no claims until a tree fell on their barn. Pekin would not pay out the full amount for their claim because it was not resolved within the 2 years per policy (even though they could not get the matter resolved due to Covid). Interestingly the supervisor at Pekin who made the decision was working at home during this time period because of Covid.
