The doctor was unfriendly, in fact she acted like she was ticked off because I was there. And I had an appointment!! When I asked a question about my eyes she wouldn’t even respond. She has a lot of anger in her. Don’t waste your time, unless you want to feel frustrated and unworthy of her time!
Scheduled an appointment weeks ago for an annual check up. Called prior to scheduling an appointment to make sure they accept Davis Vision and they did. Showed up for my appointment today and apparently they had to push my appointment out due to an issue with Davis Vision. Front office staff lied saying that they called and left a message to let me know this. I have no missed calls from them and no voicemails. very shady billing practices
The office is small, dirty and dingy. Equipment is about 100 years old. "Dr" Wike is obnoxious to say the least. She is rude to her patients and her assistant. She slipped in a $109 charge for a "followup visit" which she doesn't tell you about until you are practically walking out the door after your exam. Thats when she tells you she wont order your lenses or give you your prescription until you come back. Which is obviously an excuse to charge you $109. Dr. Peggy Wike and her staff are very courteous from the moment I entered the office to check out. Dr. Wike spent ample time to truly hear and understand my concerns and needs. The prescription was spot on. Dr. Wike will be my eye doctor from now on.
STAY AWAY from this place!!! The office is tiny, ugly, and uncomfortable! The customer service is nonexistent, the 2 front desk ladies and Dr. Wike are weird & rude and my PRESCRIPTION IS WRONG. I made an appointment for a contact exam and I had to test out the contacts for a week and then in a week come back to make sure they worked OK, my follow up appointment I made for the doctor's normal lunch hour but she was going to wait for me.
