I truly enjoyed the food I ordered and the nice study friendly seating. But I cannot get past the terrible conditions they had their turtles living in. Three wild turtles living in a small wired shut well. The tank water was dirty, and there was barely enough room for swimming. This tank included no enrichment, filthy water, and no light for the turtles to bathe in. This is Inhumane and unethical. I do truly enjoy the food and seating at this establishment, but hope they will consider better care for their animals.
I’m not sure the name of the blonde haired lady who was working this morning but she definitely needs to learn how to speak to customers. She was extremely rude to me! I didn’t realize my boyfriend was in the no parking zone when he let me out to grab a coffee. She made it a point to very rudely tell me when I said I didn’t realize “there’s 4 signs that say it”! I did not eat, just got coffee. Joseph is very nice and attentive to his customers. New owner. Cozy coffee shop. It's s nice place to take a break. Has inside, patio and shaded deck in back. They also have turtles in the aquarium outside the main door.
Great atmosphere, great service! The food and coffee is a little too pricey for what is served though. $13 for a small sandwich with no sides or drinks is a tough ask.
Sitting here for 20 mins now for 2 egg and cheese bagels with cheese... enough time to write a negative review. I even let go the rude behavior when taking my order because there short staffed. Understandable...no. wait its not.. rude and 23 mins later? No thanks. Don't know how the good tastes yet im late from the 5 course meal that was being prepared. $44 w/tip
