Dr. Piza repaired my hip fracture in March 2018. I have found his office and his care to be sorely lacking in the aftermath. At my last appointment, the waiting room was so crowded and the wait so long, people were standing. I have found Dr. Piza’s communication to be lacking. He does not look me in the eye. I also was concerned about uneven leg length and he quickly dismissed it and didn’t even examine me. Unfortunately, my experience with this doctor was not a good one.
I have been a patient of Dr. Piza's for over seven years. The first time he saw me was an emergency situation on a Sunday. Both of my femurs fractured at the same time, and I had to be rushed to Delray Medical Center by ambulance. He placed titanium rods in both of my legs from the knee to the hip, along with the necessary screws and plates. While having multiple visits at Dr Piza's office the staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Dr. Piza takes the time to explain and reassure the patient of assessment and treatment needed. Dr Piza and his staff has demonstrated the compassion, empathy and patiences towards the patient care and assistance required. What an amazing physician . He has the best bedsides manner and is very caring and patient . His staff are very friendly and efficient . Dr. Piza took care of elbow . He gave me a cortisone injection and the pain went away immediately. I am still doing great and I am almost back to feeling 100%. I highly recommend him and his office .
Dr. Piza did an excellent job on my husbands emergency hip surgery. He was very compassionate and made me feel at ease.
