Saw him in January 2022, regarding a broken ankle. He was absolutely wonderful. Nice, polite and professional. I would recommend him to friends and family.
I haven’t seen this Dr. since before my broken ankle surgery. He never came to see me in recovery after my surgery to explain what he did or how the surgery went. Then, his office scheduled a follow up visit to remove the stitches weeks later. He was unavailable for that as well and apparently on a Medical leave. Come to find I have screws and a plate attached to my ankle but was told the reason I needed surgery was for the torn ligaments. He said the fracture itself would heal on its own. Dr Cosculluela was disappointing at best. He came into the room in a very unfriendly manner. He didn't say good morning, no smile, didn't care how I came to him, absolutely no empathy. My feet are achy, and all he says is my feet are fine. No reason why, and no discovery to try and even find out what my problem stems from. I asked for a Dr note giving me some time to schedule another Dr visit with a rheumatologist as this is the only thing he said I can try, but he denied the Dr note. Dr. Pedro Cosculluela is such a wonderful, kind and compassionate doctor at Methodist Hospital. He was straight forward in advising us of a hard decision to amputate my husband's foot after trying a year to save it. We are very happy that we had him as our surgeon.
