My family had a horrible experience with the front desk staff during our newborn appointment. Dr. Aung is an in-network pediatrician and yet their office does not follow standard billing practices for newborn appointments. I do not recommend scheduling your newborn appointment with this practice. When we called their office weeks prior to birth, they said we have nothing to worry and that we should just call when the baby is born. The new qualified nurse practitioner is very nice and helpful. She is very available and is very responsive to our concerns.
Dr. Aung refused to care for my child because the practice/hospital is catholic! Literally their words. This practice put my daughter on birth control to treat her acne and regulate her cycle, she has been on it for months now and as of today they refuse to refill the prescription because they are a catholic practice and will no longer provide her with the medication THEY started her on in the first place. This practice should be shut down for malpractice!
Let me start by saying this review is for a single provider with the practice. We followed Dr. B and Dr. Aung from York Belvedere Medical Center. As is such my family and I have been with Good Samaritan Pediatrics for over 25 years and it’s sad but the reputation of that office is absolutely horrible now.
