My son was extremely traumatized as a small child at another office in town. They marketed themselves as a kid dentist but they do not have the extra schooling to be a pediadentist. At Dr. Tam's office I felt so very comfortable. The staff is amazing and the doctors make you feel very informed. They make the time to listen to all your concerns in a loving way that makes you feel like your talking to family. I couldn't be happier! Dr. cottrell & Kathryn did a great Job with my 2 year old son. They had lots of patience and cheered him on through each step of his first appointment. I definitely recommend them!! Not once did my baby cry in his first appointment.
It was my Son's first time visiting a dentist. I absolutely loved it!!! From staff, to Dr. They treated my son with lots of love & care. Made him feel safe. I totally recommend any parents to bring there kids in & check it out! You guys won't regret it.
Such an amazing group of people to who took incredible care of my 3 year old daughter. Dr. Cottrell was patient, kind, and assuring with us. He took his time and was never in a rush. Kathryn was amazing, gave my daughter comfort, and held her hand the entire time. Both dentist are incredibly knowledgable in their field and excellent communicators.
I can't say enough good things about Dr Tam. The whole staff here is fantastic. We highly recommend them for children's dentistry!!!
Everyone at SM Pediatric Dental Group has been very friendly and supportive with my daughter who was referred to them because of her fear and anxiety. Since our first visit they have made her feel comfortable and safe. I want to give a special thanks to Salvia who assisted Dr. Cottrell during my daughters procedure. She was patient, stayed positive, and never gave up. Thank you, thank you a Sylvia and Dr. Cottrell for everything!!!
We switched to Dr. Tam a few years ago, after going to a dentist that didn't communicate well about dental work that my kids needed done. Dr. Tam has been amazing! He has kept up with my two girls' dental health, and has immediately addressed any concerns. Today my youngest went in for a filling that fell out and it was causing a lot of pain; he was able to immediately remove the tooth. Both me and my daughter are so grateful for his thorough and immediate attention! We will for sure stay with Dr. Tam!
