RecommendedFirst of all both doctors are amazing! Dr Cantrell literally makes mine and my kids day whenever we see him. Today my youngest had to have a cavity filled unfortunately, but the team took such good care of him which made all the difference in the world! Claudia was assisting on the procedure and helped my 5yr old feel safe and comfortable. We will never go anywhere else. They are all the very best!

Switched to this dental group recently and my 3 y/o and I had such a great experience. Natalie was the RDA that helped and she was wonderful, explained everything to me and made my daughter feel super comfortable. Dr. Cottrell was amazing as well, he came in and introduced himself to me and my daughter something our previous dentist (at a completely different office) never did . First time here and I loved it! Claudia was great with my daughter; she explained step by step what she was going to do and made her feel super comfortable. And Joanna was very patient with my son(3years old) crying and all! Dr. Was really good with both my kids and explained everything very well. Way better experience than the last place my daughter went to. Recommend 100%
Dr. Tam & Ms. Natalie were amazing with my two year old during her visit today! She was not having it but they did fantastic in explaining everything to her👏🏻 I loved how organized and greedy everyone was specially Ms. Sylvia as we walked in made it nice and easy with all the screening questions and COVID 19 protocol🙌🏻 We were having trouble with my insurance before our appointment but Magaly & Maritza did an awesome job solving the problem 🙌🏻 Thank you guys!!!!
Visiting the dentist can be difficult but not when you go to Santa Maria Pediatric Dental Group! Even during a pandemic I felt like my children were well cared for. I rescheduled one appointment to accommodate for state guidelines but it was a cinch. All office procedures were explained well before the appointment. I love this place and I’m sure my kids will begetting braces here someday!
As a mom of a child with Autism, dentist visits can be very upsetting. The staff is so friendly and the office is so welcoming! My son's assistant Natalie eased him into getting comfortable in this new place! She was so kind and showed him the instruments in the room and talked through everything with us. Dr Cottrell was amazing and patient with our apprehensive kiddo. Many thanks for making this our best dental visit yet! I will be spreading the word about how great this office is!!!
We had our first experience with Santa Maria Dental Group and it was a great one! Both of my boys (age 3 and 6) left with smiles and are looking forward to their next visit. Dr. Tam and Dr. Cottrell were happy to answer my questions and very caring. Our hygienists Vanessa and Hunter were awesome with the kids. They helped them feel at ease by explaining each step and made what can be a very stressful experience fun!
Dr Tam was amazing and very informative and honest. The staff was awesome also very sweet. Love this office and cant wait to come back.
