My daughter was under the care of Dr. Nayak for the last 11 years. We have nothing but high praise for him and appreciate all he has done for our daughter. I am making a comment here in hopes that he will see this. Over the last 2 months my daughter has tried to get referred to another endocrinologist closer to where she goes to college. We are beyond thrilled to be under the care of Dr. Nayak and his staff. Their dedication to their little patients is apparent. We so appreciate how focused they are on our child’s medical needs and yet make it a light-hearted and fun experience every time we are there.

This office is extremely hard to reach. They send you to an automated voicemail system and require you to typically wait an entire day before responding. If they need to fax paperwork or get paperwork you need it is typically not done or you have to go to an office far out of your way if you live in the spring area. Dr. Nayak does care about his patients and Kara is amazing at her job, but the office staff and several different locations make it difficult to exist with this disease especially if you have multiple doctors. We were referred here by our pediatrician. Within my first sentence, Doctor Marks interrupted to tell me I was wrong about a detail. She was rude, short and dismissive of our concerns. She did not ask for permission or explain before checking my nine year old’s private areas. I would be fine with being wrong (and my pediatrician being wrong) if I only felt confident that all my concerns were addressed and our full situation was understood, but I was interrupted and cut off so often that I do not feel Dr Marks was even listen... read more
