When a kid comes in with a ear problem and they send you out with a urinary track infection. They're draining insurance company's.
Dr. Redmond is amazing. I have used her the past few times with my kids and I won’t use anyone else. She is so sincere and truly cares about my babies. She is so sweet to me and to them. She listens to me and does what it takes to make sure my babies get well. She is a blessing.
My stepson went for the longest pooping himself even at school. The doctor at pediatrics east kept on prescribing him meds and on seeing him for the same reason, they even prescribed him meds that conflicted with each other. We ended up having to home school my stepson because of this issue. It took a doctor in Gadsden to say "hey this is ridiculous they should of sent this boy to a specialist why haven't they?" Dr. Soong has been my children's Pediatrician for more than 20 years. I trust him very much. He is very informed and intelligent. He is also a Father and has a great bed side manner.
We have been with Pediatrics East for almost 19 years. Every experience has been wonderful. Having extended office hours has saved us from costly ER visits several times for minor injuries and illnesses. The entire team is great!
I love Peds East--- I was a patient as a child when it was in Center Point and now both my girls go there. They are a large practice with many patients but I've never had a bad experience. Whether calling to make an appointment or asking the nurse a question they are always very nice and get back to you as quickly as possible. Dr. Garland Youngblood is our doctor (LOVE her) but we have seen many of the others and they are very friendly and helpful. They listen to my questions/concerns and take great care of my kids.
